11/13/01. The Health Law Forum of the APHA presented the first Jennifer Robbins Award to George J. Annas at the Atlanta meeting, October 22-25,2001. Named for Jennifer Lauterbach Robbins, whose invaluable contributions were cut short by an early death, this award is given to honor lawyers whose insight and experience have similarly let them make lasting contributions to improving public health through law.
